Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 12, 2026
1. Our Commitment
At DevsTool, your privacy is our primary concern. We believe that developer utilities should not collect or analyze your sensitive payload data, API keys, passwords, or code snippets.
2. Client-Side Processing (Zero Data Collection)
All interactive tools provided on this website process your input data entirely inside your web browser.
- No input text, files, credentials, or parameters are sent to our servers.
- All operations are handled locally using JavaScript, WebAssembly, or built-in browser engine APIs.
- We do not log, store, inspect, or share any of the input/output values from our tools.
3. Analytics and Logging
To understand user volumes and improve our services, we collect basic traffic telemetry:
- Google Analytics / Cloudflare Web Analytics: We track anonymous metrics such as page views, referrer sources, and tool selection frequencies. No personally identifiable information (PII) or user payload data is ever associated with these metrics.
- Web Server Logs: Standard HTTP request logs (IP addresses, user-agent headers, visited URLs) are temporarily logged for security monitoring and server performance analysis, but are not linked to any tool interactions.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
We use the browser's localStorage API solely to store user interface preferences, such as your chosen color theme (System, Light, or Dark) and search history inside the command palette. This data never leaves your local device.
5. External Links
Our site may contain links to external web resources (such as GitHub). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or contents of those external websites. We encourage you to read their respective privacy statements.
6. Contact Us
If you have questions about this privacy statement, please contact us by filing an issue on our GitHub repository.
